Wither Skeleton Horse

This mod adds a new undead horse variant to Minecraft: a dark, smoky Wither Skeleton Horse, as a Nether counterpart to the vanilla Skeleton Horse.

It also adds a rare trap encounter in Soul Sand Valley, where a lone Wither Skeleton Horse may appear. Get too close, and the trap is triggered with a lightning strike, spawning a group of mounted Wither Skeletons.

How To Find A Wither Skeleton Horse

While exploring a Soul Sand Valley, a Wither Skeleton Horse trap may appear if the player is carrying one of the configured lure items.

By default, the lure item tag includes:

• Totem of Undying
• Enchanted Golden Apple
• Nether Star
• Dragon Egg

The item only needs to be present in the player's inventory. It is not consumed.

When a player comes within range of the trap horse, lightning strikes and the encounter begins, spawning Wither Skeleton riders on Wither Skeleton Horses. The Wither Skeletons are going to hold enchanted bows and wear enchanted helmets. If you manage to defeat the Wither Skeletons, you may put a saddle onto the horse and gain control over it.

Features

• Wither Skeleton Horses usually emit smoke particles. When they're stepping on Soul Sand or Soul Soil, the particles become the Soul Particles.
• Wither Skeleton Horses have speed and jump boost when they step on soul soil or soul sand.
• Wither Skeleton Horses are able to be equipped with horse armors.
