Enchanted Armaments
This plugin was made for an SMP called Enchanted SMP (hence the icon), and it adds a bunch of special weapons and enchants to the server. Players don't need any mods to use it. You just need a Paper or Purpur server set up correctly.
Server Setup
- Run a Paper (or Purpur) server on Java 25 (Oracle), Minecraft 26.2.
- Install ProtocolLib. The plugin depends on it and won't work without it.
- Drop
EnchantedArmaments.jarinto your server's/pluginsfolder and restart. - Download the datapack from the mod page and extract it into your world folder's
datapacksdirectory (for exampleworld/datapacks/). It sets the loot tables the plugin needs for trial chamber loot to work, so drop it in before you start using the mod. - Configure
config.ymlhowever you like, then reload or restart the server. - A resource pack isn't required for the plugin to function, but it's recommended if you want to actually see the custom textures on the armaments.
Dependencies
| Dependency | Required? | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Java 25 (Oracle) | Required | The server needs to run on Java 25. |
| ProtocolLib | Required | A server side plugin dependency. Install it alongside EnchantedArmaments.jar in /plugins. |
| Resource Pack | Recommended | Download it here: EnchantedArmaments.zip. Apply it client side (or host it server side) so players can see the custom textures on the armaments. |
| Datapack | Required | Uploaded as a .zip on the mod page. Download it and extract it into your world folder's datapacks directory (for example world/datapacks/) before starting the server. It sets the loot tables the structure loot injection relies on. |
Custom Gear (14 unique items)
Copper Armour Set
(Boots, Leggings, Chestplate, and Helmet)
Every piece uses the same base stats as its netherite armour counterpart. All pieces are fireproof, tagged so they can be tracked, tuned so their durability never breaks, glinting, and built with custom model data so the resource pack textures show up correctly.
| Piece | Passive | Active Ability | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boots | Permanent Speed I | Copper Sense (double tap Shift and hold): reveals nearby players through walls, but only for you | 60s |
| Leggings | Blast Protection VIII | Copper Charge: sets off an explosion you're immune to | 60s |
| Chestplate | Permanent Fire Resistance, Fire Aspect on all weapons, flaming arrows | Inferno Shot (double tap offhand): launches a fireball | 60s |
| Helmet | Permanent Strength II, and Blood Tempered (gains +0.5 toughness per kill, capping at 10 kills) | Blood Rage: auto triggers Speed III and Strength III for 5 seconds when you drop below 4 hearts | 90s |
Chainmail Armour Set
(Boots, Leggings, Chestplate, and Helmet)
The chainmail set leans into wind and mobility, giving speed, flight, and knockback tools instead of pure damage output.
| Piece | Passive | Active Ability | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Boots | No fall damage (Windborne) | Gale Wings: toggle flight on and off by sneaking | 30s |
| Leggings | Permanent Speed II with a wind trail effect that builds up as you sprint | Cyclone Step (sneak and double left click): a dash that launches any entities you pass through | 50s |
| Chestplate | Windwall, which passively deflects incoming projectiles and melee hits | Eye of the Gale (double tap offhand): a 10 second deflection shield | 120s |
| Helmet | Permanent Strength I | Eye of the Storm (triggers automatically): a tornado that launches and damages everything within 6 blocks when you're hit below 6 hearts | 90s |
Unique and Rare Weapons
| Item | Passive | Active Ability | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|---|
| Copper Sword | Same base stats as a netherite sword, plus Storm Strikes (every 4th hit calls down lightning) | Lightning Ray (triple sneak): strikes wherever you're looking for 5 seconds | 30s |
| Necromancer's Sword | Collects "souls" from mob kills, and has a 5 level Soul Stealer progression that levels up from either player kills or cumulative souls, whichever is higher. Max soul capacity scales with each level. | (Triple sneak): summons undead minions equal to your soul count | None |
| Void Blade | Bringing of the Void: every 60 seconds, your next hit drains 3 hearts to you, then reverts after 20 seconds | Void Collapse (triple sneak): opens a black hole that pulls in entities and applies Wither within 3.5 blocks for 10 seconds | 120s |
| Emberbrand | Molten Touch (burns targets, and burns longer if you're wearing the Copper Chestplate), Scorched Earth (leaves fire behind while sprinting), and Forge Tempered (fire damage heals you instead of hurting you) | Emberstrike (triple sneak): coats the blade in lava for splash damage, with a texture swap while it's active | 80s |
| Sovereign's Tide | Sea mobs stay passive around you and defend you, you get permanent Water Breathing, and hitting an enemy applies a Drowning Curse | Tidal Army: summons an army from the ocean for 3 minutes | 7 min |
| Warden's Heart | Wardens stay passive around you and defend you. Void Guardian spawns a warden to hunt down anyone who attacks you while you're below 4 hearts, and Void Sentinel spawns an avenging warden when you die. | Sonic Shriek (shift and click gesture): fires a sonic boom that corrupts blocks | 40s (Void Guardian is 220s) |
Custom Enchantments
| Enchantment | Applies To | Effect | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Excavation | Pickaxes and Shovels | Mines a 3x3 area at once | Registered through Paper's data driven enchantment system, respects durability and Unbreaking, blacklists tile entity blocks like chests, furnaces, and spawners, and is exclusive with Fortune |
| Auto Smelt | Pickaxes only | Automatically smelts ore drops and grants furnace XP | Built from the live furnace recipe registry, and exclusive with Silk Touch |
World Generation and Loot
The plugin injects one time unique items into naturally generated chests tied to specific structures:
| Item | Structure |
|---|---|
| Warden's Heart | Ancient City |
| Void Blade | End City |
| Necromancer's Sword, Emberbrand | Nether Fortress |
| Chainmail Armour Set (all 4 pieces) | Bastion Remnant |
- Spawn chance is configurable per item, defaulting to 5%
- Keeps a persistent record of what's already been placed
Vault Token System
Copper armour pieces can also show up as disguised Copper Ingots (tokens with lore text on them). Picking one up decodes it and either gives you the real item if it's your first claim, or 3 to 6 diamonds as a consolation if it's already been claimed.
Protections and Quality of Life
- Custom items can't be stored in ender chests. This is blocked on click, shift click, drag, and hopper or dropper transfer, and it's checked recursively inside shulker boxes and bundles too.
- Custom items are immune to normal durability-lowering actions.
- Renaming an item on an anvil keeps its custom display name on the renamed result.
- The server broadcasts an announcement, with per player and per item history saved to JSON, whenever someone is found holding one of the tracked rare armaments.
- Pickups and cooldowns show up as action bar notifications instead of cluttering the chat.

- Spawn chances for each item's structure chest (you can adjust these)
- A
HIDECOORDSflag that stops the console from logging anything that would reveal chest locations
