AntiFakeLag is a lightweight server-side detection plugin designed to identify and analyze suspicious lag manipulation behavior such as fakelag and lag switching.
Unlike traditional solutions that rely heavily on ping values, AntiFakeLag focuses on packet timing patterns and movement behavior, allowing it to detect abnormal network activity that is not visible through standard latency checks.
Features
- Packet timing analysis (movement and keep-alive packets)
- Burst detection after inactivity periods
- Variance-based network stability tracking
- Behavioral lag scoring system (0–100)
- Configurable thresholds and actions
- Lightweight performance impact
- No dependency on player ping values as primary detection
How it works
AntiFakeLag monitors the consistency of player network behavior over time. Sudden pauses in packet flow followed by rapid bursts of movement or actions are analyzed and contribute to a dynamic suspicion score. When thresholds are exceeded, the plugin can: * Log suspicious behavior * Notify staff members * Execute configurable server commands ## Notes This plugin is designed for server administrators who want additional visibility into lag abuse and network manipulation. It does not perform automatic banning by default.
