Here Be Dragons は、ストーリーベースのModです。作者が書いた小説『Here be dragons』の世界観をMinecraftで追体験することを目的としています。 バニラの「エンダーアイを投げて要塞を見つけ、ポータルを開く」という単調なエンドへの道のりを作り直し、プレイヤーに世界中を冒険する理由と、その旅を彩る物語を与えます。

本作は、作者による小説『Here be dragons』（全12章・完結済み）の世界観と設定をベースに制作されています。Modで遊びながら、あるいは先に小説を読んでからModを遊ぶことで、より深くこの世界を楽しめます。

✨ 主な特徴

• 多様な「瞳」の収集: 世界各地のダンジョン探索、特定のディメンションの攻略、あるいは固有の素材（砂漠の真珠やラヴェジャーの瞳など）をクラフトすることで、全16種の新しい「瞳」（守竜の瞳、灰燼の瞳、大地の瞳など）を獲得できます。
• ポータルの起動条件の変更: エンドポータルを開くためには、一種類のエンダーアイではなく、世界から集めた複数の**異なる種類の「瞳」**をはめ込む必要があります。
• 物語の追体験: 砂漠の神殿の底に眠る光るもの、黒曜石の遺跡に残された記録……各アイテムや要素には物語の背景が存在し、かつての探索者たちの足跡を辿ることができます。

⚠️ End Remasteredとの類似性について

本Modは、「世界中から様々な種類の眼を集め、エンドポータルを開く」というコアシステムにおいて、著名なModである End Remastered に非常に類似している部分があります。 このシステムは独自のストーリー（『Here be dragons』）の表現手段として採用したものですが、優れた先行ModであるEnd Remasteredから多大な影響とインスピレーションを受けていることをここに明記し、最大限のリスペクトを表します。

Here Be Dragons is a story-driven mod — a Minecraft adaptation of the author's completed novel, Here Be Dragons. It completely revamps the monotonous vanilla progression of "trade for ender pearls, find a stronghold, open the portal," giving players a genuine reason to adventure across the globe, wrapped in a narrative of ancient explorers and a world's end.

This mod is based on the completed 12-chapter novel Here Be Dragons written by the author. You can read the story before or alongside playing the mod for a richer experience. Note: the novel is available in Japanese only.

✨ Features

• Collect Various "Eyes": Discover 16 unique "Eyes" (such as the Dragon Eye, Cinder Eye, and Earth Eye) hidden across different dimensions, found in specific dungeon loot, or crafted from rare unique materials like Desert Pearls and Ravager Eyes.
• Ignite the Portal: To activate the End Portal, standard Ender Eyes are no longer enough. You must explore the world to collect and place several different types of these unique Eyes into the portal frames.
• Experience the Lore: A glowing orb resting at the bottom of a desert temple, records left behind in obsidian ruins... Every item and feature is deeply tied to a lost history, allowing you to trace the footsteps of ancient explorers.

⚠️ Note on Similarity to End Remastered

The core mechanic of this mod—collecting various unique eyes scattered across the world to open the End Portal—is functionally very similar to the well-known mod End Remastered. While this system was specifically adopted as a means to express the narrative of my original story (Here Be Dragons), I would like to explicitly acknowledge the profound influence of End Remastered. I have immense respect for the creators of that fantastic mod.
