Death Screen Coordinates is a lightweight, client-side utility mod for Fabric that automatically displays your exact X, Y, and Z coordinates the second you die, right on the vanilla death screen. No more scrambling to hit F3 before you respawn, and no more guessing where your gear dropped.
What's New version 1.0.1+
Starting in v1.0.1, the mod has been completely updated with new customization options:
Better Text Placement: The coordinates are now moved higher up, sitting neatly right under the death title and score instead of being crammed at the bottom of the screen. Custom Colors for X, Y, and Z:** You can now style each coordinate axis separately with its own color (for example: red for X, green for Y, blue for Z, or whatever palette you like). Built-in Color Picker & RGB Inputs:** Customize colors using an interactive color gradient and hue bar, or type in exact RGB numbers (0–255) and hex codes directly. Adjustable Position: You can fine-tune the exact height (Y-position) of the coordinates in the config menu if you want them higher or lower. Clean Death Screen: No clutter or unnecessary buttons covering your death screen.
How to Configure
You can open the customization menu at any time by: Pressing I on your keyboard (you can change this in Options → Controls → Key Binds) Typing /deathcoords in chat
Details Client-Side Only: Works on any vanilla or modded multiplayer server—the server does not need to have the mod installed. Settings are automatically saved to .minecraft/config/deathcoords.json.
