Delay Optimizer
Delay Optimizer is a client-side Fabric mod designed to improve input responsiveness and reduce perceived action latency during competitive PvP and movement.
By leveraging client-side prediction and optimized packet flushing, it provides smoother, more responsive feedback for common game actions.
✨ Features & Technical Details

Food Responsiveness (Client-Side Prediction):
- Predicts food and Golden Apple consumption on the client thread upon completion of the eating animation.
- Instantly displays client-side visual absorption hearts and regeneration feedback while awaiting server confirmation.
-
Streamlined Projectile Throws:
- Optimizes packet handling for Ender Pearls, Wind Charges, and Splash Potions by flushing the Netty network channel immediately upon use.
- Prevents visual desync and ghost pearl artifacts by synchronizing client swing animations and cooldowns without spawning conflicting dummy entities.
-
Firework Acceleration:
- Dispatches Elytra rocket acceleration packets immediately to reduce input lag during flight.
-
Customizable Timing Slider (0ms - 200ms):
- Allows players to fine-tune the prediction delay offset to best match their network conditions and server tick rates.
