Gambit Client

Gambit Client is a Forge 1.20.1 companion mod for multiplayer servers running the Gambit PvP system. Install the same version on the Gambit server and on every connecting client. It is not a standalone minigame and does not add Gambit matches, maps, weapons, or kits to single-player worlds.

The server side sends Gambit match and player data to connected clients. The client side uses that data for the following presentation features:

• A custom player-list overlay while the player-list key is held, grouped into Red, Blue, and lobby/spectator sections.
• The current Gambit space (hub, gambit, or arena) plus available map, mode, timer, team, and kit information.
• Synced match statistics when the server provides them, including kills, deaths, damage, and downs.
• A right-side kill feed populated by structured events from the server.
• Gambit-specific scoreboard and bossbar cleanup while the server UI bridge is active.
• Synced crawl/downed poses and related first- and third-person rendering used by Gambit gameplay.

These displays depend on data from a configured Gambit server. Outside that environment, the mod does not provide a playable game mode or useful standalone content.
