š Fancy Skies
Golden sunsets, starry nights and big fluffy clouds.
Fancy Skies replaces Minecraft's flat sky with full skyboxes that change through the day. They fade smoothly into each other as time passes and react to the weather.
⨠Skies included
āļø Bright days
A deep blue sky full of soft, sunlit cumulus clouds, with wispy high clouds overhead.
š Golden sunsets
The western sky glows orange, pink and violet, with clouds lit from below by the setting sun.
š Starry nights
A dark navy sky with thousands of stars, a glowing Milky Way and faint colorful nebulae. The night sky slowly turns with the stars.
š Soft sunrises
Pastel pink and gold mornings in the east, with rosy clouds.
š§ļø Moody storms
When it rains or thunders, heavy grey clouds take over the sky.
š£ A new End
The End gets a swirling purple and teal nebula full of stars.
ā° Day cycle
| Time | Sky |
|---|---|
| Dawn | Sunrise |
| Morning ā evening | Day (or storm clouds when it rains) |
| Dusk | Sunset |
| Night | Stars & Milky Way |
Each sky fades in and out over about an in-game hour, so there are no hard cuts.
