Multibinder
This clientside mod allows you to bind up to three keys per vanilla keybind, and it's directly attached to vanilla's keybinding menu, so no learning a new ui.
Usage
Everything works exactly the same as vanilla's rebinding (other than one small change):
- Open the keybind menu
- Click a keybinding's button
- Press up to 3 keys right after another (keyboard or mouse)
You can also press Escape to clear the keybinds, just like vanilla.
The first key becomes a "primary" key, and is persisted in Minecraft's default options.txt, and other keys are persisted in .minecraft/config/multibinder.json.
Trigger Modes
If you ever take a look through the Multibinder json file, you might notice a mode flag. This determines the behavior of the keybind.
There are two values, all and any.
all means the bind requires all of the bound keys to be pressed before the keybind is triggered. This is the default value.
any means any of the bound keys can be pressed to trigger the keybind. The only reason this mode exists is because I accidentally wrote bad code and made this first, lol.
Switching the mode flag requires a restart because it's only read once on startup.
Notes
I dunno, nothing really to say. This mod was actually kinda hard to make for some reason.
