Welcome to the first stable release of CryBackpacks! This is a lightweight, server-side Paper plugin that introduces beautifully crafted 3D backpacks into your Minecraft world.

Designed using native 1.21.4+ item components, it expands your inventory without requiring any client-side mods. Just plug in the resource pack and play!

📦 Required Resource Pack

⚠️ CRITICAL: For the 3D models to display properly, you and your players MUST install the official resource pack. Without it, the backpacks will not render correctly.

This is what they look like

Leather Backpack

Leather Backpack Description: Travel Bag Wanderer. Old leather, soaked by rain and road dust. The seams have been patched three times, but it still holds together. "The first step is the most important. The rest will fall into place." Capacity: 9 slots. Level: 1.

  • Description: Your trusty starter companion. Perfect for early-game survival, exploring, and basic resource gathering. It features a classic, vanilla-friendly leather texture that looks great on any adventurer's back.
  • Tier: Basic / Entry-level. Craft

Iron Backpack

Backpack Description: Expedition backpack. Hand-forged in the Iron Ridge Mountains. Steel rivets for the buckles—it's cave-hardy. "A miner without a good backpack is like a pickaxe without a rukonti." Capacity: 18 slots. Level: 2.

  • Description: A heavy-duty upgrade for serious miners and builders. Reinforced with iron plating, this backpack offers a sleek metallic look and provides reliable storage for extended cave expeditions.
  • Tier: Medium / Advanced. Craft

Gold Backpack

Backpack Description: A treasure trove of centuries. Cast from the gold of ancient temples. Runes on the clasps whisper in a forgotten language, and the space within obeys them. "He who wears this carries the history of the world." Capacity: 27 slots. Level: 3. Legendary item.

  • Description: A luxurious, high-end backpack for those who like to travel in style. Crafted with shining gold elements, it is the ultimate status symbol for wealthy players and server economy masters.
  • Tier: Premium / Luxury. Craft

💡 How to Use & Important Note

To ensure maximum performance and compatibility with vanilla server logic, please note the following interaction mechanic:

  • To open a backpack: Hold the backpack in your hand and Right-Click while aiming at any block/ground.
  • Note: Due to vanilla Minecraft client-server limitations, right-clicking completely into the empty air will not trigger the opening interaction. Always target a block to open your inventory!
