Oceanographic

Have you ever been out at sea? The waves gently rocking your boat. You glance over the railing and the horizon dissolves into nothing. An empty, cold and uncaring abyss. You stare at it and it does not stare back. To the ocean you are nothing more than a flake of marine snow. Her all-consuming void hiding secrets man should never know. The only thing separating you and a bottomless void is your man-made seashell you call a boat.

What is added?

This datapack changes the worldgen for the overworld to tall jagged islands and deep crushing oceans. The world height is increased and now ranges from y = -64 to y = 352.

Why add this?

I made this datapack to fill a void I saw. there was no worldgen with steep cliff-like islands spread throughout a deep ocean. The plan is to pair this with Create Aeronautics to build custom boats and diving machines.

Other notes

• There aren't many dry caves
• Caverns are rarer than vanilla worldgen
• Due to the increased world height, there might be more lag than usual for some users
