SunRiptide

Bring true hold-and-release Riptide movement to your Paper server.

SunRiptide recreates the feel of vanilla Riptide while giving server owners a smoother, more flexible implementation. Instead of instantly launching the player on right-click, SunRiptide uses a proper hold, charge, and release system, making the ability feel much closer to Minecraft's native trident mechanics.

Simply equip a trident enchanted with Riptide, hold the use button to charge, aim where you want to go, and release.

How It Works

  1. Obtain a trident with Riptide I, II, or III.
  2. Hold the trident's use button.
  3. Charge the Riptide attack.
  4. Aim in the direction you want to travel.
  5. Release to launch yourself forward.

Higher Riptide levels provide stronger movement.
