26.1.12
Compatibility
Changes
This update redesigns the Web Dashboard and fixes several performance problems in it. The Web Dashboard is still EXPERIMENTAL.
New design
The sign-in page and the dashboard have a new look in ServerBooster's dark blue and violet. The sign-in page also has a button to show the password. A side menu takes you to each section: Overview, Systems, Modules, Worlds, Players, Entities, Hotspots and Activity. On phones and tablets it folds into a menu button, and wide tables scroll inside their own box. The Overview puts TPS first, with its recent history. Tick time is shown against the 50 ms a tick can take, along with memory, online players, monitor uptime and the Minecraft version. The top bar shows the connection state in more detail: live, stale data, reconnecting or connection limit reached. Performance fixes
Each update now redraws only the values that changed. Before, the dashboard rebuilt every table and list on every update. When the connection drops, the dashboard waits a little longer between attempts, up to 30 seconds. Before, it retried every 3 seconds without end, even after the session had expired. An expired session now goes back to the sign-in page, and when 10 dashboards are already open, a new one tries again once a minute. Alerts appear in a fixed strip at the top, so the page no longer jumps when one comes or goes. The animated background is drawn at most 24 times per second and stops while the tab is in the background. The new Effects button turns it off. No config changes in this version: replace the jar and restart the server.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
