! REQUIRES ORIGINS FORGE 1.20.1 ! ! This is my first Origins addon so there's probably some bugs, sorry in advance !
Astralis adds a bunch of new Origins to the Origins mod, all built around a sun/moon/void theme. Some of them evolve into stronger forms the more you play, and there's a decent bit of lore behind each one if you're into that.
New Origins & Evolutions :
Foxkin Quick and cunning, with a strong bond to the wild. Good at dodging danger, slipping through tight spaces, and disappearing among the trees. Sunborn Blessed by the sun. Gets stronger, faster, and tougher in daylight, but weaker at night or during an eclipse. Solar Surge gives an extra boost while the sun's out. Moonborn The night-side counterpart to Sunborn. Thrives in darkness, gets buffs under the moon, and has its own version of Solar Surge called Moon Surge. Eclipsebound (evolution, triggered by events) What you get when Sunborn and Moonborn combine. Balanced between light and dark, gets stronger during eclipses and twilight, and picks up hybrid abilities from both sides. Umbra Ascendant (evolution, triggered by events) The final form of Eclipsebound. Rare. Messes with gravity, mutes sound around itself, and runs on pure eclipse energy. Yin-Yang Has fully balanced light and shadow and moved past both. Calm, steady, and pretty much unbothered. Genocide Gets faster, stronger, and more ruthless the more you kill. Peace makes it weaker. Pacifist The opposite of Genocide. Gentle and resilient, gets stronger from peace and healing others, weaker from violence. Subspaced Someone who fell into the void and ended up drifting through a bunch of sub-dimensions.
What makes Astralis different
Evolutions actually depend on what you do in-game, not just a menu pick Sun and moon change how your powers behave in real time A few custom abilities like Solar Surge Enough lore behind each origin to build a story or server theme around Should play nice with other Origins addons in a modpack
Coming soon: more origins, bugfixes.
Feedback and suggestions welcome, always down to hear ideas.
