Changes
Fixed some pretty major issues that were causing stutters instead of preventing them (oops). Here's what changed:
- FPS smoothing - No longer freaks out from frame-to-frame FPS fluctuations
- Fixed budget calculation - Was accidentally processing one extra heavy chunk per frame, causing the exact stutters we were trying to prevent
- Time-based limits - Hard caps processing time per frame so even worst-case scenarios stay smooth
- Teleport protection - Detects when you teleport or change dimensions and throttles extra hard during the chunk loading spike
- Proactive throttling - Watches for performance instability and backs off before stutters happen, not after
New config options if you wanna tweak things. Delete your old config to get the new defaults.
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
