Overview
Spell Trigger is a compatibility mod that connects TaCZ with Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks
Players can imbue spells into TaCZ firearms through the Arcane Anvil and trigger the bound spell when a bullet hits an entity or block.
Spell Trigger adapts spells based on their actual execution mechanics. It currently supports projectile, splash-area, beam, breath, continuous, movement, buff, summoning, and selected special-mechanic spells.
The mod adds a magic circle that follows moving targets. Continuous spells are cast from the center of this circle.

Features
- Trigger Iron’s Spells spells with TaCZ firearms
- Imbue firearms with spells through the Arcane Anvil
- Trigger bound spells when bullets hit entities or blocks
- Trigger spells separately on multiple targets hit by penetrating bullets
- Calculate shotgun triggers based on the number of pellets
- Make magic circles follow moving targets
- Cast continuous spells from the center of the magic circle
- Preserve the original spell level, damage, effects, cooldowns, and mana cost
- Supports Touhou Little Maid
- Unique Spellcasting Indicator
Controls
While a magic circle is being maintained, press the Iron’s Spells cast key (V by default) to interrupt the spellcasting manually.
Configuration
# Allow extracting an inscribed spell from a gun as a scroll at the inscription table.
allowGunScrollExtraction = false
# Allow gun-triggered spells to ignore existing cooldowns and avoid adding new cooldowns.
ignoreCooldown = false
# Allow gun-triggered spells to cast without consuming or requiring mana.
ignoreManaCost = false
#Allow tamed TaCZ gun users, such as Touhou Little Maid maids, to cast using their online owner's spell resources.
allowTamedGunCasting = true
Compatibility
Spell Trigger should support spells added by Iron’s Spells ’n Spellbooks addons in theory. Spells with unusual casting mechanics may not work correctly.
