Base ingredients: wheat + sugar + egg

All egg-based pies are crafted with the base ingredients plus their main ingredient:

• Carrot pie: base ingredients + 1 carrot.
• Golden carrot pie: base ingredients + 1 golden carrot. Provides special effects*.
• Sweet berry pie: base ingredients + 1 sweet berry.
• Glow berry pie: base ingredients + 1 glow berry. Provides special effects*.
• Melon pie: base ingredients + 1 melon slice.
• Glistering melon pie: base ingredients + 1 glistering melon slice. Provides special effects*.
• Cream pie: base ingredients + 1 milk bucket.

Base ingredients: wheat + sugar

All simple pies, with the exception of the mushroom pie, are crafted with the base ingredients plus their main ingredient.

• Apple pie: base ingredients + 1 apple.
• Golden apple pie: base ingredients + 1 golden apple. Provides special effects*.
• Enchanted golden apple pie: base ingredients + 1 enchanted golden apple. Provides special effects*.
• Chorus fruit pie: base ingredients + 1 popped chorus fruit. Provides special effects*.
• Mushroom pie: wheat + 2 red or brown mushrooms.

Base ingredients: 3 wheat + 1 sugar + 1 milk + 1 egg

All cakes are crafted with the base ingredients plus 3 of their main ingredient. These cakes have custom 3D models and can be placed and eaten as regular cakes! They provide the same hunger/saturation as regular cake, unless stated otherwise in the recipe list below.

• Carrot cake: base ingredients + 3 carrots.
• Golden carrot cake: base ingredients + 3 golden carrots. Each slice provides a total of 2.5 drumsticks and 6.4 saturation, and special effects*.
• Chocolate cake: base ingredients + 3 cocoa beans.

All cookies and breads are crafted with 2 wheat plus 1 of their main ingredient. The cookies take half of regular time to eat (0.8 seconds).

• Sugar cookies: 2 wheat + 1 sugar.
• Sweet berry cookies: 2 wheat + 1 sweet berry.
• Glow berry cookies: 2 wheat + 1 glow berry. Provides special effects*.
• Carrot bread: 2 wheat + 1 carrot.
• Golden carrot bread: 2 wheat + 1 golden carrot. Provides special effects*.
• Pumpkin bread: 2 wheat + 1 pumpkin.

All cookies and breads are crafted with 2 wheat plus 1 of their main ingredient. The cookies take half of regular time to eat (0.8 seconds).

• Sponge cake: wheat + sugar + 2 eggs. Takes half of regular time to eat (0.8 seconds).
• Cocoa sponge cake: wheat + sugar + egg + cocoa beans. Takes half of regular time to eat (0.8 seconds).
• Custard tart: wheat + sugar + 2 eggs + milk bucket. Takes half of regular time to eat (0.8 seconds).
• Mushroom quiche: wheat + egg + milk bucket + 2 red or brown mushrooms.

Golden carrot foods provide night vision for a certain amount of time:

• Golden carrot bread: 1 minute
• Golden carrot pie: 2 minutes
• Golden carrot cake: 3 minutes (same as a Potion of Night Vision)

Eating a golden apple pie provides a slightly improved version of the effects of eating a golden apple: Absorption II for 2 minutes and Regeneration II for 10 seconds.

In the same vein, eating an enchanted golden apple pie provides a slightly improved version of eating an enchanted golden apple: Absorption V for 2 minutes, Regeneration II for 1 minute, Fire Resistance I for 5 minutes, and Resistance I for 5 minutes.

Eating a glistering melon pie provides 2 hearts of instant health (same as a Potion of Healing).

Glow berry foods end the Darkness effect and provide night vision and the glow effect for a short time (5 seconds for cookies and 20 seconds for pies).

When eating a chorus fruit pie, you will be teleported randomly within 32 blocks, as if you just ate a chorus fruit (with four times more range).

All foods have their own "give" function, which can be used to give yourself the food if you have admin privileges or cheats turned on. The command is /function dnv.baking:give/<item_id>.

• E.g. /function dnv.baking:give/golden_carrot_pie will give you a golden carrot pie.

The following table contains the hunger restored and saturation given by each custom food (except cake slices). These are roughly calculated from their ingredients.
