BlohoShaders
Bloho Shaders adds a light cinematic touch to the already familiar vanilla minecraft’s familiar style. It adds soft bloom, sun and moon shadows, atmospheric fog, moving procedural clouds, glowing ores, warm lighting, and subtle water highlights.
It has a vivid mode, balanced mode, atmosphere and baseline for low end devices!
The main focus is light, shadows, the sky, water, and how different blocks interact with light. I didn't want to completely change Minecraft's art style or make everything overly realistic. The idea was to make the vanilla world look cleaner and more atmospheric while keeping it recognizable.

Features
BlohoShaders currently includes:
- Real-time directional shadows
- Entity shadows
- Softened shadow edges
- Bright sunlight and ambient lighting
- Emissive lighting from lava and beacons
- Custom sky and procedural clouds
- Improved nighttime lighting
- Water reflections
- Lighting for transparent blocks
- Foliage lighting
- Tonemapping
Shadows & Sunlight
The direction of the shadows in this shader depends on the position of the sun in the sky. so it adds a really nice depth to the environment.

Shadows also change depending on where the object if it is relative to the light source instead of just applying a dark overlay

Light can pass through glass rather than acting like an opaque block.

Sky & Atmosphere
It have softer clouds and different lighting depending on the environment and time of day.

I wanted the daytime sky to stay bright and close to the vanilla style.

Nighttime has a very cool and darker look while still leaving enough visibility to actually play the game.

Light Sources
Different light sources have a much different effect on the surroundings. Like lava produces a strong warm light which spreads onto nearby surfaces:

Beacons also interact with the lighting and remain extremely bright compared to their surroundings as seen in the screenshot below.

Water & Foliage
Water has been adjusted to react more strongly to light while keeping the original vanilla texture.

Leaves and other foliage use the shader's lighting while also retaining the traditional vanilla texture.

Performance
BlohoShaders is meant to improve the game's visuals without trying to turn Minecraft into a completely different-looking game.
I have tried to keep the effects relatively simple where possible, but performance will still depend on your GPU, resolution, render distance, Minecraft version, and shader settings. It has multiple modes as mentioned at the top of the article.
Compatibility
BlohoShaders is made for Minecraft Java Edition.
It is intended for shader loaders that support this format, such as Iris.
If you find a graphical bug, a block that doesn't render correctly, or something that looks noticeably wrong while the shader is enabled, please report it so I can look into it.
