Clear Sight

Client-side Fabric mod that removes things that block your view. Every removal is its own toggle in Mod Menu > Clear Sight, so you pick exactly what goes. Nothing duplicates a vanilla option.

Toggles marked with an asterisk (*) require OP or singleplayer to use.

Effects

• Warden darkness, both the closing fog and the screen dimming (on by default)
• Blindness fog and nausea distortion
• Your own swirly potion particles (on by default). Other entities keep theirs

Fog

• Clear water, lava*, and powder snow fog
• The thick nether fog, every biome. The horizon fade stays

Loading

• Instant resource loading: the Mojang loading overlay closes the moment loading is done, at game start and on F3+T and pack reloads
• Hide the loading screen on respawn and dimension change: watch the world load in instead. It comes back by itself if a load stalls
• Seamless server switch: transfers show a frozen view of the world instead of the reconfiguration screen
• No title screen fade-in

Screen

• Full-screen totem pop-up and the particle burst (on by default)
• Fire overlay slider: vanilla height, lowered or gone
• Hurt camera shake
• Pumpkin blur, frost edge, portal swirl, spyglass circle and the sleep fade

Menus

• The dark tint behind menus, per kind: inventory, chests, workstations, villager trading, signs and books, the pause menu and everything else

World

• Rain and snow, including splashes, leaf drips and the sky gloom
• Biome particles: white ash in basalt deltas, ash, crimson and warped spores
• Elytra firework trail
• Boss fight darkening
• F3+B sight lines

Vanilla already has options for vignette, darkness pulsing, FOV effects, clouds, menu blur and lightning flashes, so those are not duplicated here.

The loading toggles step aside automatically when another loading screen mod (kennytv's force close mod, rrls) is installed, instead of fighting it.

Requirements

Minecraft 26.1+, Fabric API and Cloth Config. Mod Menu recommended, or bind the open-config key in Controls.
