Web Window Mod

Web Window Mod adds a fully functional, movable and resizable web browser directly to Minecraft. Browse the web, watch videos, manage your history and bookmarks, control browser audio, and use websites without leaving the game.

Features

  • In-game browser overlay - the browser is drawn on top of your game, so you can keep playing while a page is open
  • Edit Mode - drag the window by its top bar and resize it from the bottom-right corner; position and size are saved
  • Interaction Mode - click, scroll and type on websites, including Enter, Backspace, arrow keys and Ctrl shortcuts (copy, paste, select all)
  • Keeps your session - hiding the browser doesn't reset it; show it again and you're back on the same page, with paused videos continuing from the same moment
  • Fullscreen mode and Reset position
  • Navigation - URL bar (paste links of any length), Back, Forward and Reload
  • Audio control - mute or unmute website sound with one key
  • Bookmarks - custom names, editable URLs and icons (Minecraft items or your own PNG, JPG, GIF, BMP or TIFF image), with delete confirmation
  • History - every visited page is saved; delete single entries, or clear history and cookies for a chosen time range (from 15 minutes to all time)
  • English and Polish translations
  • Client-side only - works on any server

Requirements

  • Fabric Loader and Fabric API
  • MCEF is required. For Minecraft versions below 1.21.10, use MCEF. For Minecraft 1.21.10 and newer, use MCEF Modern.
  • On first launch MCEF downloads the Chromium browser files, which can take a moment.

Known issues

  • Versions before 2.0: mouse clicks and window dragging do not work.
  • Versions before 2.1: Enter, Backspace and Ctrl shortcuts do not work, and turning the browser off resets it.
  • WebP images can't be used as bookmark icons.
