Crownfall

Crownfall: The Ultimate SMP Challenge Suite. Welcome to the official core mechanics for the Crownfall SMP! This plugin transforms a standard survival server into a competitive, chess-themed experience where players climb the ranks from a lowly Pawn to the all-powerful King.

NOTICE: This is a single plugin that consolidates all previous Crownfall systems into one core plugin. It is designed for the Minecraft Server created by Nearly and is built with Folia support.

Rank Upgrades: You obtain rank "Upgrades" through crafting. By combining specific resources with a Nether Star, you can craft an "Upgrade" item. Right-clicking the correct Upgrade item promotes you to the next rank, provided it is the next tier in the rank progression.

The Queen Ritual: To reach the Queen rank, a Rook must perform the "Ascension." Place a Chest directly on top of a Netherite Block and fill it with 2 Ominous Trial Keys, 10 Diamond Blocks, and 1 Rook Upgrade. Once the ritual begins, the Chest and Netherite Block are protected, along with the surrounding area, from interference for 30 minutes. Blocks placed too close to the ritual structure are automatically removed and returned to the player.

The King Trial: Once you are a Queen, you can challenge the throne. By holding a Dragon Egg and using /kingtrialstart, you begin the King Trial. You must survive inside the large designated trial area for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Leaving the area or dying causes the trial to fail, and a 12-hour personal cooldown begins before you can attempt it again.

• Player Survival

Life System: You have 3 lives. If you die, you lose a life. If you lose all your lives, you are either demoted or banned from the server depending on your rank.

The Aegis of Revival: If a player is banned, another player can craft an Aegis of Revival using Wither Skeleton Skulls, Ancient Debris, Diamond Blocks, and an Enchanted Golden Apple. Using the Aegis opens the graveyard menu, where it can be used to revive and unban a player.

Gear Restrictions: Your rank dictates what gear you are allowed to use. Lower ranks have restrictions, while higher ranks gain access to more powerful equipment. CrownfallCore automatically enforces these restrictions when gear is equipped or held.

Configurable Restrictions: Rank restrictions can also be customized through config.yml. The DisableDefaultRankPerms option allows the built-in Crownfall rank restrictions to be disabled while keeping your configured rank restrictions active through the configurable ban/permission settings.

• In-game Commands

/withdraw or /demote: Safely drop back one rank and receive an Upgrade token corresponding to your current rank.

/queentime: Check how much time remains on any ongoing Queen Ascension rituals.

/kingtrialstart: Start your journey to becoming King. Requires Queen rank and a Dragon Egg.

/kingtrialtime: Check the remaining survival time for any active King Trials.

/chess set [PlayerName] [Rank]: Set a player's rank. (Requires OP)

/chess give [PlayerName] [Item] [Amount]: Give a player an Upgrade item or Aegis of Revival. (Requires OP)
