Bank Vault
Kill the chest monster. Once and for all.
A multiblock bank vault with a searchable, tabbed GUI for mass item storage — built to be the last storage room you ever need.
Why Bank Vault?
- The chest monster ends here. One structure, one GUI, every item you own — searchable, sorted into category tabs, and stacking into the millions. No more warehouse of double chests and signs.
- Early-game accessible. A full vault costs nothing but iron — if you have an iron farm, you have a vault. No blaze powder, no ender eyes, no diamond-pickaxe gatekeeping like an ender chest.
- Share it — or don't. Unlike an ender chest, a vault can be shared: invite friends or your whole team, hand out permission ranks, and run one bank together. Solo players get their own private bank from the very same structure.
- Build one everywhere. Vaults work like ender chests: they're access points, not the storage itself. Put a 3x3 at your base, your mine, your outpost — every formed vault opens your bank.
- Farms love it. Hoppers insert directly into the vault, so it's the perfect endpoint for any farm — aim your collection line at it and the loot lands in your bank, already categorized.
- Movable — with intent. A vault can be mined and relocated, but at nine blocks it's deliberately a little more effort than pocketing an ender chest. Vaults are meant to be built into your farms and bases, not carried around.
How it works
Craft 9 Bank Vault Blocks and place them in a 3x3 -- the structure forms automatically. Right-click any formed vault to open your own bank (Ender-chest model: vaults are shared access points, so a whole server can use one structure and every player sees their own storage).
Features
- Massive storage -- starts at 2,048 items; feed it chests as upgrades (up to 64) for a capacity of 20,000,000 items.
- Tabbed item browser -- 18 category tabs, live search, scrollable grid, two smart sort modes plus A-Z and count.
- NBT-exact storage -- enchanted books, potions, tipped arrows, written books, filled shulkers and backpacks keep their exact data. Items stack only when identical; nothing is ever flattened or lost.
- Quick Unload -- drop a filled shulker box, bundle, or Travelers' Backpack on the unload slot and its contents flow into the vault; the emptied container is returned.
- Built-in 3x3 crafting grid and full inventory panel, so the vault doubles as a workbench.
- Groups -- invite players to a shared bank with permission levels (Deposit / Member / Master / Owner):
/bank invite,/bank accept,/bank leave, and more. - Fully data-driven categories -- tabs, item assignments, and both sort orders live in
config/bankvault/JSON files. Edit them, run/bank reload, done. Delete a file and the default regenerates on next launch. - Soft integrations -- Trinkets slots in the inventory panel and Travelers' Backpack support, no hard dependencies.
