GoodMC: Items is a small mod that can function as an Addon for GoodMC which restores the 1.7/1.8 combat system including the iconic 1.7 animations (See mod GoodMC on my CurseForge page HERE or my Modrinth page HERE).

Note that GoodMC (the core mod, not this one) is currently in BETA for 1.20.1 and the full release will be out soon.

GoodMC: Items can be installed completely separately. Installing GoodMC is NOT required in order to install this mod.

The original version of GoodMC, made for Minecraft 1.12.2, added a few items and gear to the game that the newer versions of it do not.

The items include:

  • Notch Armor (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings & Boots)
  • Notch Sword
  • Notch Tools (Pickaxe, Axe, Shovel, Hoe)

And even the Notch Apple Block

All these items are crafted using Enchanted Golden Apples (AKA Notch Apples), and sticks for the tools & sword, in the same pattern as Vanilla Minecraft.
