Inter-Glyphs - Inter Font Resource Pack for Minecraft Java Edition

Inter-Glyphs replaces Minecraft's default pixel font with Inter, one of the most readable modern typefaces. Menus, chat, tooltips, signs and item names become cleaner and easier to read, with carefully tuned letter spacing and no overlapping chat lines.

It is a lightweight font-only resource pack: no textures, models or gameplay changes. Just better-looking text.

Minecraft checks the pack version number, so each version range has its own file. Pick the one that matches your game and you will not see the "made for a different version" warning.

Compatibility

Works with Minecraft Java Edition 1.14 to 26.x, including OptiFine.

Found a problem? Report your Minecraft version with a screenshot and it will be looked at.

How to install

1. Download the file for your Minecraft version (do not unzip it).
2. In Minecraft open Options -> Resource Packs -> Open Pack Folder.
3. Drop the zip into that folder.
4. Select Inter-Glyphs in the list and click Done.

If you get a "made for a different version" prompt, you can still press Yes; the pack works, but the matching file for your version avoids the warning.

FAQ

Does it work with OptiFine? Yes, tested with OptiFine.

Does it work with Fabric, Forge or NeoForge? It is a normal resource pack, so it should work with any loader, but only OptiFine and vanilla were tested.

Does it support Hindi / Devanagari or other scripts? No. Inter does not contain those characters, so they keep Minecraft's default look. The same applies to some symbols.

Why is the text on older versions close to vanilla size? Older versions use a fixed line height. To keep chat lines from overlapping, the text stays near vanilla size there.

Will it change my game or break saves? No. It only replaces font images.
