Description

Better Tactical Presentation is an addon mod for TaCZ that refines the tactical leaning experience, making it more responsive and tailored to FPS players' preferences. It offers extensive customization options to suit your playstyle.

Features

  • Dual-mode Toggle: Press B (default) to switch between "Aim Mode" and "Lean Mode".
  • Aim Mode: Right-click to ADS, release to stop.
  • Lean Mode: Right-click to enter tactical lean, release to recover.
  • Long Press Cooldown: Long-press B to trigger a cooldown (prevents accidental toggles).
  • Right-click Long Press Lean (optional): When enabled, B is disabled; short right-click toggles ADS, long right-click triggers lean.
  • Disable Vanilla Crouch Lean: Option to disable TACZ's default "crouch to lean" behavior.
  • Break Sprint: Automatically disables sprinting while leaning.
  • Customizable Messages: Screen messages for mode switching, cooldown, and lean status (configurable).
  • Lean Spread Modifier: Adjustable bullet spread for lean mode via config file (experimental).

Configuration

All options are available in .minecraft/config/btp-common.toml.

Requirements

  • Minecraft: 1.20.1
  • Forge: 47.x (47.3.0 or higher recommended)
  • Below 1.2.0: requires TaCZ 1.1.8+ & TaCZ Tweaks 3.0.0-alpha.6+. From 1.2.0+: requires TaCZ 1.1.5+.

Client-side only — works on servers without installation.
