Any Stone Tools

Ever mined granite and wished it wasn't useless? Now every stone counts.

Any Stone Tools lets you craft stone tools and furnaces from any stone variant — not just cobblestone. Mix and match freely: a pickaxe from 2 granite + 1 deepslate works just fine.

Supported blocks (18 added)

Stone, Smooth Stone, Granite, Diorite, Andesite (+ polished variants), Deepslate, Polished Deepslate, Tuff, Polished Tuff, Calcite, Mossy Cobblestone, Stone Bricks, Mossy Stone Bricks, Deepslate Bricks, Deepslate Tiles.

(Cobblestone, Blackstone and Cobbled Deepslate already work in vanilla.)

Why this mod is safe to add

  • Pure data mod — it only injects items into the vanilla stone_tool_materials and stone_crafting_materials tags. No gameplay code, no mixins, no custom recipes.
