SimpleSell

SimpleSell adds an easy way for players to sell their items and get paid instantly.

How it works

A player types /sell A chest opens up They drop the items they want to sell inside They close the chest They get paid right away

That's it. No menus to click through, no confusing screens — just a chest.

What makes it safe to use

If an item isn't worth anything, it gets given back — it's never deleted Special items like enchanted tools, named items, or damaged gear are never sold by accident, even if the plain version of that item has a price If something goes wrong with the payment, every item goes back to the player instead of disappearing

What server owners can change

Everything about SimpleSell can be customized without touching any code:

Prices — set exactly how much each item is worth in a simple text file Chest size — pick how big the sell chest is Messages — change what players see when they sell something Safety rules — turn any of the protections above on or off

Changes can be applied instantly with /sell reload — no restart needed.

Before setting up the plugin, make sure your server environment includes these components:

A Paper server (1.21 or newer) Vault Any economy plugin that works with Vault, like EssentialsX

Good to know

SimpleSell is a standalone plugin. It works great alongside shop plugins that only let players buy items, giving your server a complete buy-and-sell system — but it doesn't require any specific shop plugin to function.
