Just Chill V4 Modpack

Just Chill V4 is the 4th version of the Just Chill Server project that I (Dracoraptors) built with some friends from high-school.

The goal of the server is just to chill and have some fun with friends on a modded environment.

Just Chill V1 started on June 2025 on Forge 1.20.1 with famous mods such as Apotheosis and Ice and Fire.

Just Chill V2 released a couple months later on Neoforge 1.21.1, introducing a whole new type of content: homemade datapacks.

At the time, i had very little experience with datapacks which meant that the amount of work required to get some long-term content was too big.

Just Chill V3 released on December 2025 on Forge 1.18.2 without a datapack this time and with the core mod being Isle Of Berk and most of its addons.

What about now?

Just Chill V4 released on July 2026 with an actual player base of 5 players and a different mindset compared to old Just Chill versions.

Just Chill V4 runs on Neoforge 1.21.8 / 21.8.54 with +80 mods that enhance the base Minecraft experience while adding small pieces of content such as structures, 3 new ores, Horses/Mounts Rework and Addons, lots of new biomes and more...

with Just Chill V4 also comes a custom, homemade datapack that took over 7 Months to make! The datapack introduces a new "mechanic": Updates Updates were originally made to give me more time to finish the datapack while keeping players occupied...

Just Chill V4.0 MAIN RELEASE come with:

• 4 New Dimensions, called "Elemental Realms", each dimension featuring boss fights, puzzles and jumps that the player must beat in order to gain access to new elements aswell as some loot.
• 1 New Armor, called "Elemental Armor", useless on its own, it gets very strong when you unlock your first element, granting you custom powers depending on the selected element.
• 4 New Elements, Fire, Wind, Earth and Water, each element is unlocked from its own Elemental Realm. The player can swap between elements using the Just Chill V4 Menu
• 5 New Weapons, inspired from Wings of Fire set of books by Tui T. Sutherland, each weapon comes with its set of abilities.

This Modrinth Project aims to make the modpack easier to maintain without resetting the player's settings each time an update occurs.
