Waking the Ancient Era of Minecraft

The idea behind Terralith: ERA is to bring to light the rich history of a forgotten Minecraft past. Inspired by the unique aesthetic of the Sniffer, this mod populates your world with mysterious and colossal creatures that once dominated the land.

Before installing, make sure you have the following required dependencies installed:

  • GeckoLib (Required for custom animations)

  • Cryossaurus: Apex predator adapted to freezing ecosystems.
  • Floraceratops: Ancient herbivore closely linked with nature and flora.
  • Blurprex: Unique prehistoric hybrid species.
  • PrimalSquid: Ancient aquatic entity roaming the deep waters.
  • Megacat: Fearsome ancestral feline predator.
  • Pterohusher: Silent airborne reptile patrolling the skies.
  • Cryolodon: Robust creature thriving in icy biomes.

🍖 Taming & Commands

🥩 Taming Items

Each creature requires a specific diet to be domesticated:

  • Floraceratops: Tamed using Melon Blocks (Watermelon Block).
  • Pterohusher: Tamed using Raw Salmon or Raw Chicken.
  • Megacat: Tamed using Raw Meat (Beef, Porkchop, Mutton, etc.).
  • PrimalSquid: Tamed using Raw Salmon.
  • Carnivores / Predators (Cryossaurus): Tamed using Raw or Cooked Meat.

🥢 Stick Command System

Once a creature is tamed, you can easily manage its behavior using a simple Stick:

  • Right-Click with a Stick on your tamed entity to toggle between movement states:
    • Follow Mode: The creature will follow you wherever you go and teleport if you move too far away.
    • Sit / Stay Mode: The creature stops following, clears its current pathfinding, and stays in position.
  • On-screen messages will notify you of the creature's status change (e.g., "Creature will follow you!" or "Creature stopped following you!").
