Details
An enhanced survival modpack for Fabric that stays close to vanilla: no new blocks, items or mobs. It focuses on smooth performance, long view distances and small quality-of-life improvements, so the game feels like Minecraft, just better.
Play it in singleplayer or on any server. The pack is also the official client setup for our private multiplayer server.
Included mods
Performance: Sodium, Sodium Extra, Reese's Sodium Options, Lithium, FerriteCore, ImmediatelyFast, EntityCulling, More Culling, Dynamic FPS
Visuals and sound: Iris (shader support), Distant Horizons (low-detail terrain far beyond the normal render distance), Continuity (connected textures), AmbientSounds
HUD and information: Xaero's Minimap, Xaero's World Map, Jade, AppleSkin, Light Overlay, Just Enough Items, Enchantment Descriptions, Better Statistics Screen
Quality of life: Mouse Tweaks, ClientSort, Freecam, CinematicZoom, Fast Trading, Litematica, Controlling, Mod Menu
Pack tools: Default Options, YOSBR (default mod settings for new installs), Am I Up To Date? (update notifications)
Libraries: Fabric API, Fabric Language Kotlin, Cloth Config, YetAnotherConfigLib, Balm, CreativeCore, Konkrete, MaLiLib, MezzConfig, MezzConfig GUI, OverlayLib, Placeholder API, PrickleMC, Searchables, TCDCommons API
Singleplayer and multiplayer
All mods are client-side. The pack works in singleplayer and on vanilla servers, and no server mods are required.
- Distant Horizons: In singleplayer, distant terrain is generated automatically. On servers without Distant Horizons support, distant terrain only appears for areas you have already loaded. Servers that run Distant Horizons, like ours, can send it to you directly.
- Server rules: Some servers do not allow tools such as Freecam, minimaps, the light overlay or Litematica. Check the rules of the server you join. You can disable individual mods in the instance's content list.
Before you install
- Requires Minecraft 26.3 with Fabric Loader.
- Distant Horizons and shaders increase RAM and GPU load. Allocate 6 GB of RAM to the instance.
- Recommended Java arguments (instance settings, Java and memory section):
-XX:+UseZGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:+UseCompactObjectHeaders
With these arguments the full allocated RAM is reserved at startup, so make sure your system has enough left for other programs.
- No shader pack is included. Iris works with any compatible shader pack you add yourself, and shaders are completely optional.
Default keybinds
The pack sets the keybinds below automatically on first launch. In the Modrinth App, this only works if game settings sync is turned off for this instance:
- Install the pack, but do not launch it yet.
- Open the instance settings and turn off game settings sync for this instance.
- Launch the game.
Keep sync turned off for this instance. While it is on, the Modrinth App applies your synced settings from your other instances, and those replace the pack's defaults. In Prism Launcher, the defaults apply without any extra step.
Camera
| Action | Key |
|---|---|
| Freecam | F4 |
| Zoom | C |
Map and waypoints

| Open world map | M |
| New waypoint | B |
| Toggle in-world waypoints | X |
Utility

Already launched with sync on? Then set the keys yourself under Options > Controls > Key Binds; the search bar from Controlling makes it quick to find each action. You can change any keybind there at any time, and your changes are kept when the pack updates.
Installation
Modrinth App: Search for the pack in the app, or click "Install with Modrinth App" on this page. Before the first launch, follow the steps under "Default keybinds".
Prism Launcher: Add Instance > Modrinth, then search for the pack.
Updating
When a new version is released, your launcher shows an update for the instance, and the game shows a notice in the main menu and in chat. Update it from your launcher. Do not reinstall the pack manually, or your map data and settings will be lost.
