🔦 FlashLight

Realistic flashlights for Minecraft, with dynamic lighting, batteries, shadows and multiplayer effects. No client mods required.
FlashLight brings a proper handheld flashlight to Minecraft. The beam follows your movements, lights up the environment around you and can be seen by other players.
Whether you're exploring caves, building a horror map or just playing survival with friends, FlashLight adds a different way to experience darkness.
Everything runs through a Paper plugin and a custom resource pack. No Forge, Fabric or external shaderpacks needed.

Your flashlight won't stay on forever.
- Configurable battery duration (15 minutes by default).
- Craftable replacement batteries.
- Low-battery visual effects.

Please download the correct plugin file for your server version.
⚠️ Good to Know
FlashLight uses visual lighting rather than Minecraft's built-in block lighting system.
This means it doesn't place invisible light blocks, change mob spawning or permanently modify your world. The lighting is rendered on the client through the resource pack.
Some external shaderpacks and rendering mods may interfere with the effects.
