Ala: Full Load
A tech pack for Minecraft 26.2. It is built around Ala Industrial, our own mod: its power chain is the spine of the pack, and the rest of the tech is arranged around it rather than beside it. 269 mods, one Fabric build.
Where you start
You start with a hammer, not with a wall of machines. The guide book is handed to you on your first tick and shows the next step at every point: hammer, machine frame, circuit, furnace, generator, bronze. Bronze is the gate. The other power chains in the pack open after it, so the early game has one path and not five.
Progress is also a normal advancement tree, so you can see where you are without opening anything.
What is in it
Tech Reborn, BuildCraft Refabricated, Create Fly, Energized Power, CC: Tweaked, and the full world generation stack. Fabric only: on 26.2 that is where the ecosystem lives, and a NeoForge build would have been a thinner pack, not an equal one.
What is inside
- Power and machines. Ala Industrial as the first chain, then Tech Reborn and Energized Power once bronze opens them.
- Automation. Quarries, drones, pipes, item routing, and CC: Tweaked when you want to write the logic yourself.
- A world worth the machines. Terralith, Biomes O' Plenty, Tectonic, Incendium, Cinderscapes, and a large set of structure mods.
- Getting around. Waystones, and Chunky so you can pregenerate the area around spawn instead of waiting for it while you walk.
- Quality of life. Recipe viewer, storage, sorting, building tools, and the usual set that a pack this size needs to stay comfortable.
- Our own tools. Ala Logger uploads a log or a crash report with one command and gives you a link, which is the fastest way to get help with anything here. Ala Screen turns F2 into a shareable link for a screenshot.
Performance
The pack ships with a performance stack and with settings already tuned, not with defaults. Creating a world takes about a minute, which for a pack with this much world generation is the point of the tuning rather than a detail. No shaders are included: they are yours to add if you want them.
Recommended memory: 6 GB. Less will run and will stutter while chunks generate.
The menu
The pack opens on a menu of its own rather than the vanilla title screen. The screens behind its buttons are the vanilla ones: worlds, servers, mods, options.
Data sent from the pack
Two mods in the pack talk to alacraft.day, and only when you ask them to:
- Ala Logger uploads a log or a crash report when you run its command. It strips addresses, tokens, keys and paths carrying your name on your own machine first, and tells you what it removed.
- Ala Screen uploads a screenshot after you confirm the preview.
Nothing is sent in the background, and neither mod sends anything on its own.
