Unknown's Altar SMP
Five legendary weapons, each one forged at its own altar out of a pile of tribute and a relic torn off something that killed you. This is Arc 1 — the altars, the relics, the five blades and everything they do.
Built for Paper 1.21.11. A resource pack ships with it for the models and icons; the plugin works without it, the weapons just look vanilla.
How an altar works
- An admin binds a block to a weapon with
/altar place <weapon>. - A placard hovers over it listing the recipe, top to bottom, with the finished weapon's name last — the altar states its price before it names its prize.
- Anyone can throw the ingredients in. The altar keeps a running tally and tells you what is still missing.
- When the last line is filled, the tribute burns and the weapon rises out of it.
Relic lines only accept the tagged relic. A vanilla breeze rod is not a Weapon Handle, and the altar knows the difference.
The relics
Relics are never crafted and have no altar of their own. They come off bosses,
or out of an admin's hand with /altar give. Each one is consumed by the forge,
so a relic is worth exactly one weapon.
| Relic | Rides on | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Warden's Heart | Echo Shard | Torn from a Warden |
| Vulcan's Skull | Wither Skeleton Skull | Torn from a Wither |
| Weapon Handle | Breeze Rod | Its own altar |
| Illusion Core | Heavy Core | Its own altar |
The legendaries
Bloodlust
A blade that remembers every life it has taken. It unlocks in stages — speed, then a tracker that draws a red line to every player nearby, then Blood Trail, then strength, then Bloodhook.
Your kill count is yours. It is saved per player, not on the item, so it survives death, dropping the sword and re-forging it. Steal someone's Bloodlust and you steal a blade with none of their progress in it.
Frost scythe
Cool to the touch. Throw it and it slows whatever it passes through, or summon three blocks of ice overhead and fire them wherever you look.
Bone Blade
Leap in on Skeletal Leap, then pin them where they stand for three seconds with Bone Cage.
Vulcans Crossbow
Scattershot is passive — every shot splits. Vulcan's Wrath turns the next bolt into a fireball that removes whatever it touches.
Wand of illusion
Allows you to transform into any player or mob by killing them it will auto adjust your health attack and attack damage to the mobs
