Vanilla minecarts have run at the same 8 blocks per second since 2011, on the same rails, forever. Crazymotives turns them into an actual transport network: four tiers of cart, five kinds of track, junctions that route by destination, and stations.
Everything is progression-gated. Your first rail costs no ore at all. Your last one costs a Nether Star.
Carts
| Cart | Top speed | Gated behind |
|---|---|---|
| Wooden Minecart | 1.0 b/t | your first tree |
| Golden Minecart | 4.0 b/t | gold and a diamond |
| Diamond Minecart | 6.0 b/t | a Heavy Core |
| Netherite Minecart | 8.0 b/t | a Nether Star |
Track
| Track | What it does |
|---|---|
| Wooden Rail | Costs no ore whatsoever. Caps carts at 60%. |
| Copper Powered Rail | A real powered rail, 80% cap. Copper is everywhere. |
| Gravel ballast | Gravel under any rail: 1 layer 65%, 2 layers 80%. Free speed from a shovel. |
| High-Speed Rail | The full ceiling, and it glows when powered. |
| Junction Rail | Routes carts by destination or redstone. |
