Bare Necessities
A total of 7 must have mods for everyone.
This is a client sided mod pack tested on a 2015 mac. It is designed for minimum bloat, which maximizes compatability and performance, tested for over a year with absolutely no problems.
I play this modpack on a server with 15 render distance and 5 simulation distance with all the other graphics turned to the max. It runs smoothly on my machine at a consistent 90FPS opposed to vanilla identical settings 50FPS.
Currently published for: Fabric 26.2* *The mods included have confirmed support for nearly every fabric Minecraft version released, so long as you update the mods to the right version.
Content:
Main Mods:
Allow Portal GUIs
- Allows you to open inventories and chat while waiting in a nether portal. Useful to stay productive while waiting.
LambDynamicLights
- Lights up surrounding areas when holding items that should glow, and causes other things that should produce light to do so. Good for seeing in caves if you use moody brightness and don't make lots of torches.
Mouse Tweaks
- Changes the way you gan move items around inventories in a very intuitive manner. Most of the features fix mistakes I would constantly make when first playing Minecraft.
Resource Pack:
Extended illuminai
- (For LambDynamicLights) Makes held and dropped light source textures 3D instead of 2D. Important when using LambDynamicLights because looking at a flat texture allmthe time is very bothersome.
Dependancy:
Fabric API
- Dependancy for LambDynamicLights and Mouse Tweaks.
Optional:
MacOS Input Fixes
- (For apple) Fixes apples silly features such as control lift clicking turning into a right click. I constantly make that maistake.
No Double Sneak
- (For servers) Fixes Minecraft bug on servers where it will sometimes make you sneak twice in quick succession on servers. Important if you don't want to die lots because you think you are sneaking.
Project exclusively maintained by me, no planned changes. All content has been approved for use in this project. DM PickleJarGuy on Discord for issues. I don't care what you do with this project so long as it follows Minecraft, Modrinth, your server, and of course the actual content developers rules.
