Details
Both Fabric and Forge versions require Cloth config, For fabric you should install Modmenu to access the config screen
SomeOrdinaryTweaks is a cliented sided mod which intends to tweak the GUI/Rendering and Game Interactions etc to improve the playing experience in a configurable manner.
Features/Tweaks (All Toggeable)
Hide Shield- Hides the Shield model if a weapon is held in the main hand slot.
Hide Totem of Undying- Hides the Totem of Undying when held in the offhand slot.
Better Horse HUD- Displays the jump-meter of a rideable mount (Horse/Donkey/Camel) only when relavent.
Disable Scoreboard Rendering(1.19.x-1.6.0+ versions only)- Hides scoreboards.
Toast Controls.- Allows the disabling of the following toast/pop-up categories - Advancement/Tutorial/Recipe.
Skip Server Resourcepack Downloads- Allows circumventing mandatory server resourcepacks
Disable Portals closing GUIs- Allows the opening of inventories and the chat screen while in the nether portal animation.
Death coords in the Death Screen- Displays the coordinates of the death location in the Death Screen, and provides a copy-to-clipboard button.
Send Death Coords In Chat- Locally displays the coordinates of the death location in chat after a death.
Smart Edible Crop Placement- Limits the planting/placing of placeable food items to only when the player is shifting/sneaking.
FullBright(1.19+ versions only)- Sets the Gamma to max, also works with the Darkness effect.
Off Hand Item Slot Location(1.19.x-1.5.0+ versions only)- LEFT -> The off-hand item slot will always be rendered on the left side of the hotbar
- Right -> The off-hand item slot will always be rendered on the right side of the hotbar
- VANILA -> Default Vanila Configuration
No double slab placement- Prevents the placement of a slab if it would result in the formation of a double slab
All Options will be turned off/set to the vanila configuration by default, with the exception of tutorial toasts being disabled by default
No backporting of features will be done, I don't have enough time to juggle multiple different versions
Forge/NeoForge compatibility
You might be able to use this mod with Forge/NeoForge using Sinytra Connector compatibility layer. Do not put modmenu mod, you can access SOT config with forge mods screen
How to configure the options
To access the config you must have modmenu mod installed, Simply click the Mods button that modmenu provides, Scroll down and find the SomeOrdinaryTweaks mod, click on it and then click the configure icon, You will be presented with the configuration screen.
