Features
- Navigation obstacles, meet your match: When an iron golem gets stuck while chasing a target, it checks whether a block is standing between it and its next victim.
- Walls and pillars are both fair game: The golem can break ordinary walls and slowly take apart those player-built safety pillars. Standing three blocks up is not a long-term strategy anymore.
- Keeps coming: Once the block is out of the way, the iron golem keeps chasing its target. It has places to be.
- Vanilla AI stays vanilla: This mod does not replace, remove, or rewrite the iron golem's original goals or navigation. It simply gives the golem one extra solution to the classic problem of “the player put a block there.”
How It Works
- The iron golem picks a fight with a target.
- It tries to reach its target.
- If it stays stuck and a breakable block is in the way, it breaks the obstruction.
- Once the block is out of the way, it carries on with the chase.
Game Rule
This mod respects the world's mobGriefing gamerule, because even unstoppable golems should have house rules.
/gamerule mobGriefing false
When mobGriefing is false, iron golems will leave blocks alone. Set it to true if you want them to solve obstacles the old-fashioned way: with their fists.
Compatibility
Inevitable Golems does not replace the iron golem's vanilla AI or rewrite its goals. It should play nicely with most Fabric mods that do not directly change iron golem behavior.

Feedback
If a golem gets confused by a particular building, terrain setup, or block arrangement, please include reproduction steps, game logs, and screenshots in your report. Preferably before the golem finishes renovating the area.
