Notice: This mod is designed for the Rat SMP, and is built around its economy, assuming keep inventory is on.
Additions:
- Coins (Dollars) - A new type of item that is mainly used with the investor villager. If keep-inventory is on, the player will drop 20% of their coins upon death via a player. You cannot remove this item from your inventory.
- Wallet - An item that behaves kinda like the bundle, but can only store coins, allowing you to move coins around. It has no limit and decreases the amount of coins dropped upon the player to 15%. More info below.
- Merchant's Carpet - A thicker version of the carpet obtained by placing 3 wool in a row in a crafting table. It allows you to sell items to other players. More info below.
- Investor villager - Quite an OP villager that sells goodies such as Netherite Ingots. He is how you get coins and wallets. Get him by placing a Merchant's Carpet as a work-station. More info below.
- Trimmed Hopper - This elegant hopper, crafted with a hopper and two Diamonds on its sides, auto-deposits any item its placer has for sale into their shop. If it's not for sale, the hopper keeps it in its inventory.
- Double Trimmed Hopper - An even more elegant hopper that can be linked to a chest to deposit all its contents in. It's crafted with a hopper in the middle and two columns of diamonds on its sides. More info below.
The Wallet
The Wallet:
This item lets you move coins into containers (chests & stuff) by putting them inside it, kinda like the bundle. Every Wallet has an owner, the person who had it last. Upon the death of the owner, the wallet will drop 15% of what it contains wherever the owner died. This also means the amount will be deducted from your wallet. This only happens if a player kills the owner, and it doesn't matter if keep-inventory is on or not (in fact, this is meant to be played with keep-inventory).
The Merchant's Carpet
The Merchant's Carpet
General
A very thick carpet that comes in all dye colors by placing 3 wool in a row in a crafting table. The person who places it down is now the owner, and they're the only one who can modify its properties. They will also get money sent directly to their wallet with each purchase, with an actionbar message notifying them about the details of the purchase. Non-owners will find it to be a very hard to break the carpet, but for the owner, it's one click and all the items input will fall out.
How to set up
To set up, place down the carpet and put any amount of coins in it (it has to be coins, and they will be deducted) - that will be the price. If you see a floating coin appear, the price is set. Place down the item you want to sell next; the amount that you placed there determines how much you will get per purchase, and it will also be added to the inventory. Now, you can't modify what you set, only buy from yourself or restock the carpet with the same item. If the carpet runs out of stock, the coin will appear again to notify you. The less stock there is, the slower the item will spin. The more, the faster.
How to buy
The block does not show prices, so the cost-to-item ratio should be shown on a sign. Interact with the block with a coin, and the amount will be deducted from your balance. The stuff you bought will pop out, but be warned, if you don't pick it up, someone can steal it.
Double Trimmed Hopper
Double Trimmed Hopper
You can craft this by placing two columns of diamonds on the left and right, and a hopper in the middle. This hopper can be linked to a chest by right-clicking a chest with it. If the link was successful, you should hear a chain sound, the hopper becoming enchanted, and a tooltip notifying which chest it's linked to. Now, upon placing it down, anything that goes into it will immediately go to the linked chest (as long as there is room and it's not destroyed).
