Star's Trapping Utils

A lightweight client-side utility mod that displays nearby minecarts and other entities when interacting with rails, making it easier to keep track of traps, carts, projectiles, and other entities in your surroundings.

Star's Trapping Utils can display counts for:

The mod displays the corresponding item icon and the number of nearby entities directly on your HUD.

⚙️ Toggleable Features

Each entity type can be independently enabled or disabled using Minecraft's keybind system.

Available toggles include:

• TNT Carts
• Hopper Carts
• Chest Carts
• Furnace Carts
• Command Block Carts
• Spawner Carts
• Empty Carts
• Snow Golems
• Armor Stands
• Arrows
• Wind Charges

All toggles are disabled from having a default keyboard shortcut, allowing you to assign your own keys through Minecraft's Controls menu.

📊 How It Works

When looking at a rail, the mod checks for supported entities occupying that block and displays their counts on the HUD.

When looking directly at a supported minecart, snow golem, armor stand, arrow, or wind charge, the mod can also display the relevant nearby counts.

This makes it useful for quickly checking the contents of an area without manually counting every entity.

🎮 Client-Side

Star's Trapping Utils is a client-side Fabric mod. It does not require installation on the server.
