Item Balance Adjustments
- Unified enchantment compatibility between the 1.20.1 and 1.21.1 versions.
- Smashcast Scepter remains an exception because it uses Mace enchantments.
- Significantly reworked the Spellgun system.
- Spellguns are now used with left-click while held in the main hand.
- This means Spellguns can no longer be used for melee attacks, but offhand items can now be used normally.
- When held in the offhand, Spellguns are still used with right-click.
- Removed spell power bonuses from all Spellguns.
- Reworked the intended role and performance of each Spellgun.
- Each material now has a more clearly defined role.
- Crafting recipes have also been broadly adjusted alongside these changes.
- Added a calibration option where inserting a Silver Spell Amplifier into the adjustment slot through the Spell Calibration Bench allows enchantment and upgrade effects to apply while the Spellgun is held in the offhand.
- Cooldown reduction now affects Spellguns.
- Spellguns are now used with left-click while held in the main hand.
- Reduced the bonus from the Attunement enchantment to 3% per level.
- Reduced the bonus from the Tense enchantment to 4% per level.
- Adjusted the behavior of the Transcendence enchantment.
- Standardized its activation conditions, which previously varied between items.
- Handheld items now function in either the main hand or offhand.
- Equippable items now function only while equipped.
- When multiple items affect the same spell, only the highest enchantment level now applies.
- Adding all enchantment levels together and increasing every spell was unintended behavior.
- Elemental Bow remains an exception, and its selected spell level continues to be increased directly.
- Changed Amulet of Satellite Followcast configuration so it is now handled through the Spell Calibration Bench.
- A Silver Ring is now required to use spells with cast times.
- Significantly reworked Reflectcast Shield.
- Slightly increased its recipe difficulty.
- Changed its available enchantments.
- Like a vanilla shield, it can no longer block immediately after being raised.
- Imbued spells can no longer be selected.
- Changed so successfully blocking is enough to trigger the spell.
- Spell activation now consumes mana.
- Spells with cast times require a Silver Ring in the adjustment slot.
- While a Silver Ring is installed, continuously cast spells can now be used.
- After a successful block, the spell continues until blocking is released or mana runs out.
- While a Shard of Wisdom is installed, the shield attempts to cast the currently selected spell instead of the imbued spell.
- Simplified the behavior of Scrollcaster Gauntlet when Mithril Freecast Staff is placed in its adjustment slot, as the previous behavior did not match its description.
- A Silver Ring is no longer required.
- Replaced Mage Light with Terra Resonance among the spells contained in Explorer's Codex.
- Added Companion Trunk to the spells usable through Storage Stabilizer.
- Improved Storage Stabilizer so its currently selected spell is easier to identify.

- Changed the Swingcast Staff series so it accepts more magic-related enchantments.
- Changed Spell-Sided Edge so it accepts more magic-related enchantments.

- Chromatic Magia Dress Coat

- Reduced the cooldown reduction of Craftsman's Delight. (66% -> 50%)
- This value has been moved to server configuration together with the effect of Magi-Agent's Boots, so it can be restored if desired.
- Increased the enchantability of Enchanted Circlet from the minimum value to approximately the same level as Netherite tools.
Other
- Updated the Simplified Chinese translation.
- Thanks: LongFei32
- Added item icon changes to Storage Stabilizer based on the currently selected spell.
- Added visual feedback to indicate when Personal Shelf is being cast in export mode.
- Changed Scrollcaster Gauntlet and Storage Stabilizer so spell selection changes are reflected immediately.
- Spell-Stained Arcane Ingot can now be used as a metal material in Iron's Gems 'n Jewelry. (1.21.1 only)
- When Mana Force Blade has Sharpness, its displayed damage now includes the Sharpness bonus. (1.21.1 only)
- In 1.21.1, Sharpness normally does not affect the damage shown in the tooltip. However, because the Sharpness bonus also affects the mana-consumption penalty of Mana Force Blade, it is displayed here for clarity and consistency.

- Fixed an incorrect impact effect for Shock.
- Fixed an issue where Lethal Assault could not be activated through charging with Focus Staffbow.
- Fixed an issue where Focus Staffbow charge did not affect the damage of certain spells.
- Fixed an issue where some spell projectiles would occasionally curve in unintended directions.
- Fixed and added safeguards for rare issues where certain items or spells could stop functioning or fail to end properly.

- Amulet of Spell Autocast remains an exception because disabling its cooldown would cause it to activate continuously, so it always applies a cooldown regardless of this setting.
- Fixed an issue where the selection UI overlapped when different items that display a selection UI while sneaking were held at the same time.
- As with identical items, the main-hand item now takes priority.
- Fixed an incorrect holding pose when Storage Stabilizer was held in the offhand.
- Fixed incorrect held-item bonus settings for Diamond Spell Amplifier and Netherite Spell Amplifier.

- Fixed an issue where Sense Evil detection did not render through walls when Oculus or Iris was installed.
- Fixed an issue where the full Magi-Agent Suit set accepted Tense and Alacrity. (1.21.1 only)
- Fixed an issue where Focus Staffbow accepted sword-related enchantments. (1.21.1 only)
- Fixed an issue where Surge and Attunement on Mana Force Blade did not function. (1.21.1 only)
Projects on Modrinth are automatically available through a Maven repository for use with JVM build tools such as Gradle. To learn more about the Modrinth Maven API, click here.
Note: When available, you should use the creator's maven repo instead as it will have transitive dependency information that the Modrinth Maven API does not. You may also end up with duplicate dependencies if you use a mix of Modrinth and non-Modrinth Maven repositories for your dependencies, because the group identifier will be different when served through the Modrinth Maven API.
