Awesome TNT
Throwable and placeable TNT variants, each with its own effect — from a bigger classic explosion to gas clouds, harmless spectacle bursts, entity-spawning surprises, and two fighting custom mobs.
This is an early/alpha release — most effects work end-to-end, but a few things are still rough:
- Mob and effect appearance is a first pass and hasn't been extensively play-tested.
Classic TNThas no crafting recipe yet (every other variant does).- A few effects (rise animations, some particle bursts) are simplified placeholders rather than fully polished visuals.
Feedback and bug reports welcome!
Variants
- Classic TNT — a bigger (10-block) version of vanilla TNT's explosion.
- Atomic Bomb — a much larger explosion, sets remains on fire, harmless mushroom-cloud visual.
- Fart TNT — no explosion; releases a fading poison gas cloud.
- Disco TNT — rises into the air, runs a light-and-music show, then bursts into confetti. Never damages anything.
- Chicken TNT — harmless burst that scatters 100 chickens wearing sunglasses.
- Cake TNT — harmless burst that carpets the area in cake.
- Water TNT — harmless burst that floods the area with water.
- Creeper TNT — scatters 100 creepers that each detonate for real a few seconds later.
- Bee Bomb — rises up and releases a swarm of sunglasses-wearing baby bees.
- Penguin Cake TNT — drops falling cake blocks, then spawns penguins that eat them.
- Owl TNT — releases owls and foxes together; owls hunt foxes and breed once fed.
- Lizard Wisard TNT — spawns a wand-wielding lizard wizard that fights owls with real magic blasts.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric Loader
- Fabric API
Ignition rules
- Thrown TNT explodes automatically on impact — no lighting required.
- Placed TNT needs external ignition (redstone or flint and steel), just like vanilla.
