Advancement Multiplier
Every advancement you earn doubles your drops. Permanently.
Start with 1x. Kill a mob: 2x. Mine stone: 4x. Craft a diamond pickaxe: 8x. By the time you've cleared the End, you're drowning in millions of items per drop. Get all 120 tracked advancements and you hit 4.6 quintillion multiplier.
How It Works
Each of the 120 tracked advancements across Adventure, End, Husbandry, Nether, and Story adds one doubling to your multiplier. The math is simple: 2^n where n is your advancement count.
| Advancements | Multiplier |
|---|---|
| 1 | 2x |
| 5 | 32x |
| 10 | 1,024x |
| 20 | 1.0Mx |
| 30 | 1.1Bx |
| 40 | 1.1Tx |
| 50 | 1.1Qx |
| 62+ | 4.6Qix (max) |
The multiplier applies to all loot: mob kills, block breaks, fishing, chest loot, and more. The more advancements you earn, the more absurd it gets.
Features
- Exponential scaling: each advancement exactly doubles your multiplier, no diminishing returns
- Bossbar display: always-visible multiplier tracker with clean K / M / B / T / Q / Qi formatting
- Scoreboard integration:
adv.countandmultiplier.maxobjectives auto-created for datapack use - Cascade drop fix: beds, doors, and tall plants both drop multiplied (the auto-broken half is covered too)
- Death protection: your own death drops are never multiplied
- Relog safe: stacks survive save/reload via a codec range patch; nothing disappears on world close
- Resync command:
/advmultiplier recalculateto force a full recount if anything desyncs
Tracked Advancements
All 120 vanilla advancements across five categories are tracked:
- Adventure: 46 advancements
- End: 8 advancements
- Husbandry: 29 advancements
- Nether: 22 advancements
- Story: 15 advancements (root excluded)
Root advancements (story/root, nether/root, end/root) are intentionally excluded as they grant automatically without player action.
Stack Size
This mod includes the same codec and container stack-size patches as the standalone Unlimited Stacks Mod. If you're using both, they are fully compatible (the patches are identical and Mixin handles deduplication cleanly).

For Server Operators
The scoreboard objectives adv.count and multiplier.max are created automatically on server start. You can reference multiplier.max from datapacks or command blocks to read the current multiplier for the #multiplier fake player.
The /advmultiplier recalculate command recounts all tracked advancements from scratch, useful after /advancement grant commands or if a player's score desyncs.
