In Mechanical Skies, you are placed in a world that was destroyed long ago, with only sparse clusters of large sky islands left floating around here and there.

You'll be able to fly around in large airships of your own design, or if you don't wanna do that, there are of course also a bunch of premade aircraft options you can craft.
