Mobs of the Mushroom Fields (1.2)

Mobs

The crawler is a mob which primarily spawns on the mushroom isles (mushroom fields) but also appears along side beaches. When night falls, the crawler falls asleep. It will change its appearance depending on the block or biome it has slept on: << img >> When shearing the overgrown parts, it will drop grass (grass block), mushrooms (mycelium block), iron nuggets (podzol) or salt (beach). It is not possible to breed them.

The Shroom Hen is not just a variant of the chicken. In fact, they cannot even interbreed with one another. To breed two Shroom Hens you will need truffles. Then one Hen will try to find a Mycelium Block on which it builds its nest. You are able to steal its egg by right-clicking on the nest. But be carefull, the chicken will defend its nest from every intruder and even stalks the thief until it gets its egg back.

The Muffle is a tiny squirrel which lives in Huge Blue Mushrooms. Sometimes it digs for truffles which is the only way to get this item. You can breed two Muffles with egg(s) from the Shroom Hen.

Cooking

You are now able to cook three dishes. Cooking requires a Stove, a Frying Pan, some logs and a flint and steel. Place the Frying Pan on top of the Stove. Then add logs to give the Stove some burning material and finally ignite the Stove by right-clicking on it with a flint and steel. To cook any meal you have to add the ingredients to the frying pan (also by right-clicking) when the Stove is ignited. But be careful: If you add the wrong ingredient, you will only receive suspicious flasks.

• Pan Fried Potatoes: 2x Potatoes + 1x Salt
• Scrambled Eggs: 3x Eggs + 1x Salt
• Feast of the Mushroom Fields: 3x Red Mushrooms + 3x Brown Mushrooms + 2x Truffles + 1x Egg (from a Shroom Hen) + 1x Mushroom Stew + 1x Salt

Dagger

The dagger is a weapon which deals extra demage when hitting your victim from behind. The golden dagger has 4 additional variants: Each has a unique effect which will also be applied:

• Normal: Bleeding
• Hot: Lifesteal
• Cold: Slowness
• Mushroom: Poison & Nausea

Soot Ink (1.1)

Charcoal Pile

The charcoal pile gives you access to lots of charcoal and soot. Simply ignite the Charcoal Pile with a flint and steel and wait until it has burned out. You can then destroy it to get your items.

Mycelium Leather (1.0)

Spade

The Spade is a new tool that can be used to harvest Mycelium Patches aswell as Grass Patches. Using the Spade (right-click) onto a grass or mycelium block gives you the corresponding patch and leaves a dirt block behind.

Grass & Mycelium Patch

You can use both types of patches onto a dirt block which turns the dirt block back into the corresponding grass or mycelium block.

Crafting Mycelium Leather

First the harvested Mycelium Patch has to be dried via a furnace. The furnace produces Dried Mycelium Patches which then can be pressed to Mycelium Leather with the use of the Herbarium Press.
