Introducing Ember Optimizations
Ember Optimizations is a Forge modpack for Minecraft 1.20.1 built for one purpose ā to make the game run the way it should. Whether you're on a budget laptop or a high-end rig, Ember delivers a smoother, more responsive experience without stripping away what makes Minecraft feel like Minecraft.
From the Creators of Prism Optimized
Ember Optimizations is made by me (SodaPlays). I am the person behind Prism Optimized. This modpack was built from the ground up for Forge. If you've used Prism before, you'll feel right at home. Same philosophy, same attention to detail, different loader.
Performance & Stability
At its core, Ember is built around a carefully selected set of optimization mods, all configured to work together rather than against each other. From chunk loading to entity rendering, every system has been tuned to reduce stutters, lower memory usage, and push frame rates as high as your hardware allows.
OptiFine Feature Support
Leaving OptiFine behind doesn't mean leaving your resource packs behind. Ember includes ETF (Entity Texture Features), EMF (Entity Model Features), and Continuity, covering the vast majority of OptiFine-dependent features, including custom entity textures, model overrides, and connected textures. For most packs, you can drop them straight in, and they'll just work.
Shader Support
Ember ships with Oculus, bringing full shader support to Forge. Whether you want to play vanilla or completely transform the look of the game with shaders, both are supported out of the box.
