Tired of chat plugins that are either too rigid or need five other plugins to do what one should? ChatGuard handles profanity, spam, link/IP advertising, and personal info leaks — all in one lightweight plugin, all fully configurable, no bloat.

• Profanity filter — catches swears and basic leetspeak dodges (@, 0, 1 substitutions won't save them)
• Spam protection — blocks message flooding, excessive CAPS, and symbol spam (!!!!!!, ??????)
• Link/IP blocking — stop other servers getting advertised in your chat, with a whitelist for your own Discord/links
• Personal info detection — auto-catches phone numbers and emails before they hit public chat
• Pick your punishment — every category gets its own mode: block, censor, or warn-then-block. Mix and match however you want.
• LuckPerms-ready bypass system — chatguard.bypass for full bypass, or granular per-category bypasses (chatguard.bypass.links, .profanity, .spam, .personalinfo) so staff can post links without dodging the swear filter
• Live reload — /chatguard reload applies config changes with zero restart
• Toggle categories on the fly — /chatguard toggle <category> for quick moderation calls
