Additive Addons
Additive Addons is a small vanilla-style mod that adds simple, natural extensions to Minecraft without changing its core gameplay. Everything is designed to feel like it could have existed in vanilla.
🌳 Woodstone
Woodstone is a new material that sits between stone and iron in progression (that was a totally necessary middle step, trust).
-
Naturally generated Woodstone Trees, growing only on stone;
-
Logs, planks, and related blocks have higher hardness than stone;
-
Can only be mined with stone-tier or better tools;
-
Woodstone tools are crafted by combining wooden and stone tools, or the normal way if you want;
-
Tool stats are between stone and iron, with high enchantability;
-
Woodstone blocks do not burn, even when placed next to lava or intentionally put on fire;
-
Rare world generation, with a 2×2 giant tree variant only accesible through saplings;
🍊 Oranges
Oranges are a new food item similar to apples, but with a twist.
-
Same hunger restoration as apples;
-
Lower saturation;
-
Grants a short Speed effect, making exploration more fun;
-
Naturally obtainable from acacia tree leaves;
🍌 Bananas
Bananas are a new food item similar to apples, but with a twist (yes, again).
-
More hunger restoration than apples;
-
More saturation;
-
Grants a short Jump Boost III effect, making exploration more fun (yes, you do NOT have Alzheimer's);
-
Naturally obtainable from jungle tree leaves;
🍌 Banana Peel
-
Peel;
-
Good for composting, I guess.
