PA9 Shulker Pick Block
Pick block reaches into your shulker boxes now.
Tired of digging a block out of a shulker box just because it's not sitting loose in your hotbar? ShulkerPickBlock extends vanilla pick block (middle-click) so it scans the shulker boxes in your inventory — main inventory and off-hand — and pulls the matching item straight into your hand. No placing the box down, no manual digging. It also hooks into Litematica's Easy Place, so schematic building pulls the right block from the right box automatically as you go.

Features
- Pick block from inventory shulker boxes — Middle-click a placed block and, if it's not already loose in your inventory, ShulkerPickBlock finds it inside a carried shulker box (slots 0–35 and off-hand) and hands it to you.
- Smart source selection — When multiple boxes hold the item, the mod prefers the box with the largest stack so you don't fragment your storage. Configurable.
- Never loses your held item — If your hotbar destination is full, your currently-held item is safely swapped into the box's freshly emptied slot instead of being overwritten, with an on-screen notice. Picks are declined outright if they'd risk nesting a shulker box inside another.
- Configurable hotbar placement — Choose
VANILLA,CURRENT_SLOT, orLRU(least-recently-used) behavior to match your playstyle. - Litematica Easy Place compatibility — Optional and auto-detected. Supplies consecutive block types from different boxes with zero extra clicks, and safely disables itself if Litematica's internals don't match rather than crashing.
- HUD notification — Get an on-screen note whenever an item is pulled from a box, with configurable toggle and duration.
- Runtime-reloadable config — Run
/shulkerpickblock reloadto apply config changes without restarting, or/shulkerpickblock statusto check current settings. - No dependencies required — Works standalone; Litematica and Mod Menu are supported but optional.
Important Note — Remote Servers
Fully authoritative in single-player and self-hosted LAN worlds (survival and creative alike). On a remote vanilla server, survival-mode extraction is client-side prediction only and will be reverted by the server, since Minecraft provides no packet to modify an item-form shulker box's contents. Remote creative mode still works via creative-mode slot packets. This is a protocol limitation, not a bug.
