Huge shoutout to Deep-Fold for the sprites of the planets. You can check him out at https://deep-fold.itch.io/ . And if you want to make you're own pixelated planets and stars, you can check out his tool at https://deep-fold.itch.io/pixel-planet-generator.

This mod adds "Widgets" to your sky without needing any texture packs or other mods. You have alot of control over everything. Most importantly of all, you can ADD your OWN widgets dynamically as pngs/jpgs, gifs or even videos. It even supports green screen incase you can't find a transparent version, you'll need to add "GN" to your video file name so the mod recognizes it as green screen.

All you need to do is to go to the "skyassets" folder inside your minecraft instance, and paste your image/gif/video inside the "additions" folder, then hit F3+T to refresh your textures and to reload it (yes it might take longer than you expect):
.

Further more, you can control all the sky widgets from the Sky Widgets menu, Directly enabling/disabling them.

Inside each entry you can control their values for their scale, poisition, rotation, and even things like what time do they show up at and which dimension.

You control the value via a slider for each entry, while also keeping the background transparent for better judgement.
