Details
GraveGuard replaces ordinary item drops with persistent graves. When a player dies, their items are stored in a grave marked with the player's head and name. The owner can return and recover the items, while protected graves prevent other players from looting them during the configured lock period.
Graves persist through restarts, support staff recovery, and safely handle inventory overflow.

Permissions
graveguard.staff
Staff members with this permission can open protected graves before the owner lock expires. The permission defaults to server operators.
Configuration
despawn-seconds: 3600 owner-lock-seconds: 300 protect-pvp: true enabled-worlds: {}
• despawn-seconds: How long a grave remains before expiration.
• owner-lock-seconds: How long only the owner is allowed to loot the grave.
• protect-pvp: Controls whether PvP deaths create protected graves.
• enabled-worlds: Allows per-world grave configuration.
How it works
-
A player dies.
-
Their item drops are stored in a grave.
-
The grave is marked with their player head and name.
-
The owner can right-click it to recover the items.
-
Protected graves reject unauthorized players until the lock expires.
-
Items that do not fit in the owner inventory are dropped safely rather than deleted.
